Mobile Home Moving Permit - This is required for all mobile homes moving into, out of or just across the street in the county.  There is no charge for this permit.  This permit is issued by the Wilkinson County Tax Commissioner.  In order to receive a permit you must have your well and septic permit from the Wilkinson County Health Department (Gary Harmon) and all pertinent information on the mobile home (Year, make, model, etc....)

Subdivision Development - Anyone dividing land into 3 or more properties must have the plat approved through the Wilkinson County Board of Commissioners office before said plat can be filed with the Wilkinson County Clerk of Superior Court.   

Occupation License - Anyone wishing to run a business in the unincorporated areas of Wilkinson County are required to obtain a license from the Wilkinson County Board of Commissioners.  There is an application and a fee for this license.  Businesses located within the city limits should contact that city hall for a business license.

Beer and Wine License - Anyone wishing to sell beer and wine in the unincorporated areas of Wilkinson County are required to obtain a license from the Wilkinson County Board of Commissioners.  There is an application and fee for this license.  We should also note license requirements for on premises and off premises consumption differ.  Again any establishment located within the city limits should contact that city hall.
