Emergency Services
Wilkinson County provides emergency services through a variety of programs.
 | 911 Citizens of Wilkinson County are able to dial 911 for all
emergency services. The 911 Center is located at the Law Enforcement Center
in Irwinton and is staffed by trained dispatchers 24 hours per day. Dial

 | Ambulance Service Wilkinson County provides ambulance service
to citizens through a contract with Heartland EMS, Inc. Dial 911 for
emergency services. Billing questions should be directed to 946-3921 |
 | Fire Wilkinson County provides fire protection services through
eight Volunteer Fire Departments located in Allentown, Danville, Irwinton,
Gordon, High Hill, McIntyre, Nickelsville, and Toomsboro. Dial 911 for

 | EMA Wilkinson County appoints an EMA Director who coordinates
volunteer rescue personnel. Volunteers respond to natural disasters such as
