Notice of Call Meeting and Budget Work Session
The Wilkinson County Board of Commissioners will meet on Thursday, September 15, 2022 in a Call Meeting at 9:30 a.m. to discuss a personnel issue. Immediately following the call meeting, Commissioners will enter into a budget work session.
The meeting will convene in the Commission Chambers of the Wilkinson County Courthouse, located at 100 Bacon Street, Irwinton, Georgia.

The Wilkinson County Courthouse will be closed Monday, September 5. The Courthouse will reopen on Tuesday, September 6 at 8:00 am.
NOTICE: Work Session Aug 20, 2022 at 11am
The Wilkinson County Board of Commissioners, along with city mayors will meet on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 in a Work Session at 11:00 a.m. to receive a presentation on an emergency alert system.
The meeting will convene at the EMA office located at 114 Wriley Road, Irwinton, GA 31042.

NOTICE: Work Session and Call Meeting on Monday, August 22, 2022
The Wilkinson County Board of Commissioners will meet on Monday, August 22, 2022 in a Work Session at 11:00 a.m. to receive a presentation on vehicle leasing for the county. Immediately following the work session, Commissioners will enter into a call meeting for the purpose of deciding on the purchase of body cameras for deputies.

NOTICE: Seeking Three (3) Laborer positions
JOB OPENING: Wilkinson County is seeking to fill (3) three Laborer positions.
- HOURS: Monday through Friday 7:00-3:30 (40 hours per week)
- SALARY TO BE DISCUSSED – BASED ON EXPERIENCE & CLASS LICENSE
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: This position includes but is not limited to: operating vehicles, tractors with attachments, chainsaws and other light equipment. Applicant must hold a valid Class C Georgia drivers license. Successful applicant must pass a BACKGROUND CHECK and DRUG SCREEN.
