The Elections Office is seeking a professional, organized, and detail-oriented Registrar to support the administration and integrity of elections.

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate preferred.
  • Prior office administration, records management, customer service, or government experience preferred.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the public and coworkers.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work extended hours during election periods when necessary.
  • Must be a resident of Wilkinson County.

Interested applicants should submit completed employment application to the Wilkinson County Commissioners office by noon June 12, 2026.

Please be advised that the Wilkinson County Courthouse will be closed on Monday, September 1, 2025, in observance of Labor Day. Regular operations will resume on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at 8:00am.

The Wilkinson County Board of Commissioners will be accepting sealed bids on the following County Project:

  1. Resurfacing of 2 County Maintained Roads within Wilkinson County.

2013 Department of Transportation Specifications for Patching, Leveling, Resurfacing, Tack Coat, and Stripping. Payment will be based on quantities in place. Bidders are required to visit roads prior to bidding.

Project Scope: The project consists of approximately 3.30 miles of roadway

The successful bidder will submit a certificate of workers comp., liability insurance, and performance bond in the amount of 100% of the project upon being awarded the bid.

Please use bid documentation sheets to document your bids.

Sealed Bids will be accepted until 2:00 P.M., Monday August 18, 2025, and will be opened and recorded at the Public Bid Opening to be held at the Wilkinson County Commissioners Office.  The Wilkinson County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to accept or reject any bid.
