Closed In Observance of Memorial Day on Monday, May 31, 2021
In Observance of Memorial Day, The Wilkinson County Board of Elections and Registrations will be closed on Monday, May 31, 2021. We will Resume on Tuesday June 01,2021 at 8:00am.
PUBLIC NOTICE: L & A Testing, Computation & Canvassing and Absentee Voting June 15, 2021 City of Gordon Special Election
In accordance with O.C.G.A. 21-2-379.6 (c) Logic & Accuracy testing on the voting equipment to be used in the June 15, 2021 City of Gordon Special Election and will be publicly performed in the Board of Elections and Registrations office. Testing will begin on May 11, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. This testing will continue day to day until completed. Members of the public are invited to observe the preparation and testing of all equipment to be used. The election superintendent and deputy registrar will conduct testing. Computation, canvassing, and certification of election results will begin on Wednesday June 17, 2021 at 10:00 a.m., unless otherwise posted, and will continue day to day until complete.
The voter registration deadline for the June 15, 2021 Special Election is May 17, 2021. Absentee voting by mail and in person will begin May 24, 2021 thru June 11,2021 at the courthouse. March 16, 2021 Board of Education Special Election

Pursuant to O.C.G.A.21-2-386 (4) notice is hereby given that the tabulation of the absentee ballots returned of votes cast in the January 05, 2021 Federal Runoff Election will take place in the Office of the Election Superintendent located at the Wilkinson County Courthouse, 100 Bacon Street Suite 133, Irwinton Georgia 31042, Tuesday, December 28, 2020, beginning at 10am until and January 04, 2021 at 12noon until completed.

Georgia’s state election board voted unanimously Monday to authorize the secretary of state to create an online portal for voters to request absentee ballots for the November general election.
You can access this portal by going on the sos.ga.gov.

This is to notify the citizens of Wilkinson County that the Wilkinson County Board of Elections and Registration will begin the scanning of absentee ballots cast in the June 9, 2020 Presidential Primary, General Primary Election, Nonpartisan General Election and Special Election of Wilkinson County, at 12 noon on June 9, 2020. Opening and scanning will be in the Wilkinson County Elections and Registration Office in the Courthouse at 100 Bacon Street Suite 133, Irwinton Georgia 31042.
