PUBLIC NOTICE: L & A Testing, Computation & Canvassing and Absentee Voting June 15, 2021 City of Gordon Special Election
In accordance with O.C.G.A. 21-2-379.6 (c) Logic & Accuracy testing on the voting equipment to be used in the June 15, 2021 City of Gordon Special Election and will be publicly performed in the Board of Elections and Registrations office. Testing will begin on May 11, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. This testing will continue day to day until completed. Members of the public are invited to observe the preparation and testing of all equipment to be used. The election superintendent and deputy registrar will conduct testing. Computation, canvassing, and certification of election results will begin on Wednesday June 17, 2021 at 10:00 a.m., unless otherwise posted, and will continue day to day until complete.
The voter registration deadline for the June 15, 2021 Special Election is May 17, 2021. Absentee voting by mail and in person will begin May 24, 2021 thru June 11,2021 at the courthouse.
