NOTICE: seeking poll works for the 2023 election cycle
The Wilkinson County Elections Office is in search of new poll workers for the 2023 election cycle.
A poll worker must:
- Be a citizen of the United States and a resident of that county.
- Be at least 16 years of age.
- Be able to read, write, and speak the English language.
- Not hold public office or be a candidate for public office.
- Be able to solve problems.
- Be an effective communicator.
- Not be an immediate relative of an elected official where the relative is a candidate

The Wilkinson County Board of Commissioners will meet on Monday, December 19, 2022 at 9 am in a work session concerning road projects.
The meeting will convene in the Commission Chambers of the Wilkinson County Courthouse, located at 100 Bacon Street, Irwinton, Georgia.

The Wilkinson County Courthouse will be closed Thursday, December 22, at 12:00 and will remain closed Friday, December 23 & Monday, December 26, 2022, to celebrate the Christmas holiday.

NOTICE: early voting
Early voting begins November 28, 2022 and ends December 2, 2022.
Time: 9am-5pm
Location: Wilkinson County Courthouse
There will be no Saturday voting.

PER THE SECRETARY OF STATE OFFICE, THE WILKINSON COUNTY ELECTIONS OFFICE WILL BE HOLDING AN INTERNAL AUDIT OF THE NOVEMBER 8, 2022, ELECTION.
THE AUDIT WILL BE HELD IN THE WILKINSON COUNTY COURTHOUSE.
THE AUDIT WILL BEGIN ON 11/17 /20022 @9AM AND CONCLUDE ON 11/18/2022 @ 5PM
