NOTICE: Chairman Michael Gotell recognized for Academic Achievement in Lifelong Learning Academy
On May 11, 2020, ACCG, Georgia’s County Association, recently awarded county officials with certificates for completing requirements in the Lifelong Learning Academy. Recipients were recognized for their achievements in a special announcement sent to the ACCG membership. Wilkinson County Chairman Michael Gotell was honored for successfully completing the core requirements in the Lifelong Learning Academy. Read more about this annoucement HERE.

NOTICE: Courthouse closed 11/11/2020 for Veteran’s Day
In observance of Veterans’ Day, Wilkinson County Courthouse will not be operational on Wednesday November 11, 2020. The Courthouse will reopen on Thursday November 12, 2020 at 8:00a.m.
NOTICE: Public Hearing Notice: Proposed FY 2020 budget
A public hearing on the proposed FY 2020 budget for Wilkinson County will be held on Monday, October 28, 2019 at 5:30 p.m. in the Commissioner’s Chambers of the Wilkinson County Courthouse, located at 100 Bacon Street, Irwinton, Georgia.
The proposed budget for FY 2020 is available for public inspection Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. in the Commissioner’s Office at 100 Bacon Street, Irwinton, Georgia.

The Wilkinson County Board of Commissioners does hereby announce that the millage rate will be set at a meeting to be held at the (Commissioners Chambers/100 Bacon Street/Irwinton, GA) on (Monday, Sept. 16, 2019) at (5:30PM) and pursuant to the requirements of O.C.G.A. § 48-5-32 does hereby publish following presentation of the current year’s tax digest and levy, along with the history of the tax digest and levy for the past five years.
