NOTICE: Work Session and Call Meeting on Monday, August 22, 2022
The Wilkinson County Board of Commissioners will meet on Monday, August 22, 2022 in a Work Session at 11:00 a.m. to receive a presentation on vehicle leasing for the county. Immediately following the work session, Commissioners will enter into a call meeting for the purpose of deciding on the purchase of body cameras for deputies.
The meeting will convene in the Commission Chambers of the Wilkinson County Courthouse, located at 100 Bacon Street, Irwinton,
Georgia.

This includes all Residential, Commercial, Agricultural, Industrial properties and Manufactured Homes.

During the October 19, 2021 Wilkinson County’s Board of Commissioner’s Meeting, Virginia Rozer was appointed to the Wilkinson County Board of Elections & Registrations, replacing Judith Geter.

L & A Testing, Computation & Canvassing and Absentee Voting
November 2, 2021 for the Cities of Gordon, Irwinton & Toomsboro General Election
In accordance with O.C.G.A. 21-2-379.6 (c) Logic & Accuracy testing on the voting equipment to be used in the November 2, 2021, Municipal General Election and will be publicly performed in the Board of Elections and Registrations office.Testing will begin on September 27, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. This testing will continue day to day until completed. Members of the public are invited to observe the preparation and testing of all equipment to be used.The election superintendent and deputy registrar will conduct testing.Computation, canvassing, and certification of election results will begin on Wednesday November 3, 2021, at 10:00 a.m., unless otherwise posted, and will continue day to day until complete.
The voter registration deadline for the November 2, 2021, Municipal General Election is October 4, 2021.Absentee voting by mail will begin on October 12, 2021-October 22, 2021. Advanced In-Person voting will begin October 12, 2021-October 29, 2021, at the courthouse from 9:00am-5:00pm. Saturday voting will be on October 16 & 23, 2021.
